Tacy Foundation Recital
Sophia and Nicole, NVMTA General Recital
Happy New Year! Students are busy preparing for theory exam and many other upcoming events. Spring season promises to be very busy for all. I am so proud of many students who find time on weekends to organize Tacy Foundation Recitals. It takes time and a lot of effort to recruit participants and make balanced programs. Most everyone has performed once or more during holiday season to bring cheer and beautiful music to retirement community in our area. Thank you!

Several events took place during past months. Good work to everyone who participate in the VMTA Fall Festival:
Lulu- Superior
Jacqui-Superior
Allison-Superior
Cameron with her new friend Aria
MSMTA Gertrude Brown Memorial Piano Concerto Comeptition is a new event for our studio. Students very much enjoyed learning required repertoire. Congratulations to Cameron and Kenneth on receiving Alternate in their groups! Cameron performed 1st movement of J. Haydn Concerto in F major. Kenneth performed 2nd movement of W.A. Mozart Concerto K414.

Cameron (Junior II)-Alternate
Kenneth (Intermediate)-Alternate

Congratulations to Allison, she received a very special greeting in mail! United States Senator, Mark Warnder, congratulated Allison on her achievement at the Lions Club Bland Competition.
