NVMTA Bach Baroque Festival/Competition was a success! Event organizers provided an opportunity for all to perform on a grand piano regardless of a repertoire category or skill level they chose to enter the festival. Congratulations to all participants, please see the results:

YMIC Competition

  Raelyn and Nicole participated in the Young Musicians Inspiring Change Competition. Both students entered in solo and duet categories. Raelyn was awarded the Grand Prize and $500, congratulations on an outstanding performance! Nicole and Raelyn are 2nd place winners in a Piano Duet category. In addition, Nicole received HM for her Solo performance, well done! Both students had a memorable weekend as they participated  at the Winner's Concert held at the Montgomery College Recital Hall, Rockville, Maryland.

Spring News

Easter weekend started off with a lovely Studio Recital at the Brightview. This time program included many exciting duets and new solo pieces we are planning for different upcoming events. Thank for attending this event, I know that residents really enjoyed student performances! 

 Big thank you to the organizers of the Steinway Piano Competition, this competition was a pleasure to attend! Parents and students enjoyed not only smoothly organized event, but also beautifully designed and printed programs that will make this competition even more memorable. This year repertoire requirement was for students to perform at least one composition by F.Chopin in addition to other selections.

 Jacqui was invited to the Winners Concert, she received a beautiful medal! Raelyn and Nicole are invited to the Steinway Showcase event this coming weekend.

   Nicole and Raelyn performed duets at the Heartfelt Japanese Spring Concert held at the Washington DC Temple Visitors' Center. Both students had a wonderful time performing and spending the day together!

VIII Chopin International Piano Competition

  Please send the warmest congratulations to Raelyn, she is the GRAND PRIX winner of the VIII Chopin International Piano Competition at Hartford, CT! This year, Junior Category had 48 contestants from Canada, Japan, Germany, China and USA. Raelyn performed compositions by F. Chopin, E. Grieg and I. Berkovich. Congratulations on a superb performance!
