Congratulations to Elsa Tseng on her stunning performance! She was awarded First Place and $200 at the Harold Protsman Piano Competition! Elsa was one of 20 young pianists competing in Category 3. 

Sophia Wang and Novasian Chorus

 

Congratulations to Sophia Wang on her first performance as a collaborative pianist with Novasian Chorus. It was the most inspiring performance at Capital One Hall. Autumn's Charm program: A Musical Encounter of East and West. Novasian Chorus is led by the art director Tim Chang. Thank you for this amazing opportunity!

Fall Festival Report

16 students from our studio participated  in the VA Fall Festival, congratulations to all of you! Everyone received the highest score of "Superior":

NVMTA Piano Ensemble Competition

 Anna Chen and Sophia Y. Wang delivered a confident performance at the NVMTA Piano Ensemble Competition.  They performed two beautiful duet compositions, Valse op.11 by S. Rachmaninov and Scherzo op.11 by S. Rachmaninoff. Congratulations on second place award! You make a great team indeed!

 In July, Kevin Shen was invited to the Jacobs School of Music Piano Academy. This program brought serious young pianists together with outstanding teachers and internationally renowned guest artists in an intensive and varied two week program under the auspices of the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Kevin had a truly unforgettable  time!

Nam has been accepted at West Point Military Academy and he has already reported to his duties. Congratulations to both students, we are so proud of you!
